Returns & Refunds Policy

At Magic Encarta, we strive to ensure that every order is delivered accurately and in excellent condition. Due to the nature of many products we sell, including collectible playing cards, limited-edition items, magic effects, instructional products, and digital content, returns and refunds are only available under specific circumstances.

Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

Eligibility for Returns

Returns are accepted only if:

  • You received an incorrect product that differs from the item ordered.

  • The product contains a verified manufacturing defect.

All return requests are subject to review and approval by Magic Encarta.

Returns Not Accepted

Returns, exchanges, and refunds will not be provided for:

  • Change of mind.

  • Buyer’s remorse.

  • Accidental purchases.

  • Incorrect product selection by the customer.

  • Products no longer wanted.

  • Delayed deliveries caused by courier services.

  • Customs delays or import-related issues.

  • Minor packaging imperfections that do not affect product functionality.

  • Products damaged due to misuse, mishandling, negligence, or improper storage.

  • Products damaged after delivery.

  • Items marked as final sale.

Magic Products

Due to the nature of proprietary methods, secret information, and instructional content, all sales of the following products are final:

  • Magic Tricks

  • Magic Gimmicks

  • Mentalism Products

  • Secret-Based Effects

  • Instructional Materials

  • Training Products

  • Magic Learning Resources

No returns, refunds, exchanges, replacements, or store credits will be provided for these products under any circumstances.

Digital Products

All digital products are final sale.

This includes:

  • Video Tutorials

  • Online Courses

  • Downloadable Files

  • PDFs

  • Access Codes

  • Digital Instructional Content

No refunds, returns, exchanges, replacements, or store credits will be provided once purchased.

Educational and Secret-Based Products

Many products sold by Magic Encarta contain proprietary methods, secret techniques, instructional content, performance concepts, or intellectual property related to the art of magic and mentalism.

By purchasing such products, the customer agrees that:

  • Methods, explanations, and instructional content are intended solely for the purchaser's personal use.

  • Instructional materials may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, shared, published, uploaded, resold, or otherwise disclosed without permission from the copyright owner.

  • Exposure of secret methods, explanations, gimmick designs, or proprietary techniques may constitute a violation of intellectual property rights.

  • Access to instructional information, whether physical or digital, constitutes fulfillment of the purchase and therefore such products are non-refundable and non-returnable.

Magic Encarta reserves all rights relating to educational content, proprietary methods, and intellectual property.

Return Request Timeframe

Customers must notify Magic Encarta within 7 days of delivery if they believe they have received:

  • An incorrect item; or

  • A product with a manufacturing defect.

Requests submitted after this period may not be eligible for review.

Information Required for Claims

To evaluate a return or refund request, customers may be asked to provide:

  • Order Number

  • Product Photographs

  • Packaging Photographs

  • Description of the Issue

  • Any additional information reasonably requested by our support team

Failure to provide sufficient information may result in rejection of the request.

Return Authorization

Products must not be returned without prior approval from Magic Encarta.

If a return request is approved, customers will receive instructions regarding:

  • Return Address

  • Packaging Requirements

  • Shipping Instructions

  • Required Documentation

Unauthorized returns may be refused.

Incorrect Products

If Magic Encarta ships an incorrect item, we will review the claim and, where approved, provide one of the following resolutions:

  • Replacement of the correct product

  • Store Credit

  • Refund to the original payment method

The resolution offered will depend on product availability and the circumstances of the claim.

Manufacturing Defects

Manufacturing defects are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Examples may include:

  • Significant production defects

  • Serious printing errors affecting intended use

  • Missing components caused during manufacturing

Normal wear, cosmetic variations, packaging imperfections, or collector preferences do not automatically qualify as manufacturing defects.

Magic Encarta reserves the right to determine whether a product qualifies as defective.

Transit Damage Claims

Customers should inspect their order immediately upon delivery.

Transit damage claims must:

  • Be reported within 48 hours of delivery

  • Include a continuous unboxing video starting before the package is opened

  • Include clear photographs of the outer packaging and affected product

Approved transit damage claims may receive:

  • A replacement product, subject to availability; or

  • Store credit

Cash refunds for transit damage are not guaranteed.

Refund Methods

Approved refunds may be issued through one of the following methods:

Original Payment Method

Where possible, refunds may be processed back to the original payment method used during checkout.

Store Credit

Customers may choose to receive store credit for future purchases on Magic Encarta.

PayPal Transactions

For international orders paid through PayPal, approved refunds will generally be processed back to the originating PayPal account whenever possible.

Refund Processing Time

Once approved:

  • Store credit is typically issued promptly.

  • Refunds to payment methods may take additional time depending on banks, payment gateways, credit card providers, PayPal, or other financial institutions.

Processing times may vary and are outside Magic Encarta's control once the refund has been initiated.

Fraud Prevention

Magic Encarta reserves the right to deny any return or refund request where:

  • Fraud is suspected.

  • False information is provided.

  • Evidence has been manipulated.

  • Policy abuse is detected.

  • Excessive claims are made.
