Refund Policy

At Magic Encarta, customer satisfaction is important to us. This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be issued, the available refund methods, and situations where refunds are not available.

Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. General Refund Policy

Refunds are only considered in circumstances approved by Magic Encarta and in accordance with our Terms & Conditions, Return Policy, and Shipping Policy. Submitting a refund request does not guarantee approval. Each request is reviewed individually based on the nature of the issue and supporting evidence provided.

2. Eligible Refund Situations

Refunds may be considered when:

  • An incorrect product was shipped by Magic Encarta.
  • A verified manufacturing defect is confirmed.
  • A return request has been approved by Magic Encarta.
  • A replacement product cannot be provided where applicable.

Refund approval remains at the sole discretion of Magic Encarta.

3. Refund Methods

Original Payment Method

Where possible, refunds may be processed back to the original payment method used during checkout.

Store Credit

Customers may choose to receive store credit for future purchases. Store credit may be issued in the form determined by Magic Encarta and may only be redeemed through the Magic Encarta website.

PayPal Transactions

For international orders paid through PayPal, approved refunds will generally be processed back to the originating PayPal account whenever possible.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided for:

  • Change of mind.
  • Buyer's remorse.
  • Accidental purchases.
  • Incorrect product selection by the customer.
  • Products no longer wanted.
  • Delays caused by shipping carriers.
  • Customs delays.
  • Refusal to pay customs duties or import taxes.
  • Incorrect shipping information provided by the customer.
  • Packages refused by the customer.
  • Minor packaging imperfections.
  • Products damaged through misuse, negligence, or improper handling.
  • Any situation specifically excluded under our policies.

5. Magic Products

All sales of magic products are final. This includes magic tricks, gimmicks, mentalism products, secret-based effects, instructional materials, training products, and magic learning resources. No refunds, returns, exchanges, replacements, or credits will be provided for these products under any circumstances.

6. Digital Products

All digital products are final sale. This includes video tutorials, online courses, downloadable content, PDFs, access codes, and digital instructional products. No refunds, returns, exchanges, replacements, or store credits will be issued once purchased.

7. Transit Damage Claims

Damage occurring during transit is handled separately under our Shipping Policy. To qualify for review, claims must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery, a continuous unboxing video is required, and clear photographs of the packaging and affected product must be provided. Approved claims may receive a replacement product (subject to stock availability) or store credit. Cash refunds for transit damage are not guaranteed.

8. Return Before Refund

Where applicable, Magic Encarta may require the product to be returned before a refund is processed. Customers should never return products without written authorization from Magic Encarta. Unauthorized returns may be refused.

9. Processing Time

Once a refund is approved, store credit is typically issued promptly. Refunds to original payment methods may take additional time depending on banks, payment gateways, credit card providers, PayPal, or financial institutions. Processing timelines may vary and are outside Magic Encarta's control once the refund has been initiated.

10. Partial Refunds

In certain circumstances, Magic Encarta may offer partial refunds, store credit, or alternative resolutions where a full refund is not considered appropriate. Such decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis.

11. Fraud Prevention

Magic Encarta reserves the right to deny refund requests where fraud is suspected, false information is provided, evidence has been manipulated, abuse of policies is detected, or excessive claims are made.

12. Limitation of Liability

Magic Encarta's maximum liability in relation to any approved refund shall not exceed the amount paid for the affected product. We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from purchases, shipping delays, customs issues, or refund disputes.
